LEVUCELL SB is a probiotic live yeast specifically selected for monogastric animals. More than 40 scientific publications have proven the beneficial effects of LEVUCELL SB on pig gut health and performance.
MODE OF ACTION
The specific metabolism and the unique properties of LEVUCELL SB (Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii CNCM I-1079) are adapted for broad action in the pig gut ensuring improved digestive function and helping reinforce gut health.
Weaning is a challenging period for piglets with major changes occurring during this critical phase. Feeding probiotics improves performance of piglets and preserve intestinal health.
Similar performance between the 2 groups was observed despite the removal of antibiotics in the diet of piglets supplemented with LEVUCELL SB.
Trial duration: from weaning to 50 days after weaning

Trial conducted in a commercial farm in Italy in 2015 with 288 piglets. Coordinated by the University of Milan. LEVUCELL SB is included at the recommended commercial dosage in the feed.
